Applying for RPL
What you need to know about Recognition of Prior Learning at Asia Pacific International College
APIC has an approved policy on Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) and grants RPL in accordance with the AQF Qualifications Pathways Policy (Australian Qualifications Framework, Second Edition, January 2013). Students wishing to apply for RPL are advised to read the Credit Arrangements and Recognised Prior Learning Policy before submitting their application.
APIC aims to ensure that all students complete their courses in the shortest possible time. Subject to the limits described in the Credit Arrangements and Recognised Prior Learning Policy , and in the table below, eligible students will be granted the maximum RPL for successfully completed courses, units, uncredentialled learning, or relevant work experience.
Granting RPL is an acknowledgement by APIC that students have gained the knowledge, skills, and the application of knowledge and skills equivalent to the Course and Unit Learning Outcomes for the course and unit(s) for which RPL is being granted.
To avoid delays in the processing of your application, be sure to include certified copies of your academic transcripts and testamurs, plus unit guides for all units for which you wish to claim RPL.
Send us an enquiry if you have any questions about applying for RPL.
