Leadership and Governance
The Governing Board is the peak governing body of APIC.
Dr Jim Taggart OAM was appointed Chair from 25 April 2016, continuing a distinguished business, education and community service career.
APIC’s President and Principal Executive Officer is responsible for managing all academic and adminsitrative areas of APIC.
Professor Clive Smallman FBCS CITP GAICD was appointed President and Principal Exective Officer from 8 March 2016
The governing authority of APIC, the Board directs the development of strategy and policy, and manages risk, and is informed by a number of standing committees.
The peak forum in APIC for for academic debate, discourse and governance. Academic Board is a standing committee of the Governing Board, and is responsible for maintaining academic integrity, standards and values.
Executing APIC’s strategy through implementing its Academic Management Plan, Risk Management Plan and functional plans is the responsibility of the President working with the Dean, the Registrar, the Director of Accreditation, Compliance and Quality Assurance, and the Deputy Deans.
