Applying for Credit (RPL)

What you need to know when applying for credit (RPL) at Asia Pacific International College

APIC has an approved policy Award of Credit Policy which outlines how credit and RPL are awarded in accordance with the AQF Qualifications Framework (Australian Qualifications Framework, 2013). Students who wish to apply for credit and RPL are advised to read the Award of Credit Policy before submitting their application.

APIC recognises the need to facilitate continued opportunities for the pursuit of formal education through the recognition of previous learning. The Award of Credit Policy outlines the principles, procedures and limits for recognition of a student’s prior learning (RPL) and experience through the awarding of credit towards an APIC award course.

Granting credit is an acknowledgment by APIC that students have gained the knowledge, skills, and their application equivalent to the Course and Unit Learning Outcomes for the unit(s) for which credit is being granted.

When applying for credit (RPL), make sure you read the Award of Credit Policy carefully and provide certified copies of your academic transcripts and testamurs, plus unit guides for all the units for which you wish to claim the credit.

If you have any questions or queries regarding applying for credit, then please send us an enquiry or if you would like to speak to someone about how to apply for AoC, please see student services staff on the campus where you are enrolled.
