1. Is APIC a recognised institution and are its courses formally accredited?

Yes, APIC is registered as an approved Higher Education Provider by Tertiary Education Quality and Standards Agency and APIC’s award courses are accredited by the same authority. APIC is formally registered on the Commonwealth Register of Institutions and Courses for Overseas Students (CRICOS). The degrees and awards conferred by APIC conform to the Australian Qualifications Framework.

2. Does APIC have Professional Endorsement?

    • AIPM (Australian Institute of Project Management) has fully endorsed APIC’s Master of Business and Project Management (graduates are automatically admitted as Certified Practicing Project Practitioner (CPPP) under AIPM’s RegPM program.)

3. Why should I study at APIC?

Individual needs and priorities vary, and while APIC courses can be customised to fit a variety of needs, potential students need to conduct their own research. As an initial guide, asking the following questions may assist in decision-making:

Do you need to acquire fresh expertise that will enable you to understand and master the art of management through projects and programs in an increasingly complex world?

Are you looking for a graduate program that is flexible (does not require you quitting your job), integrates well with workplace realities, and is practical yet challenging?

Would you like to study a course which can systematically link you with frontline thinkers without losing sight of your field, and can be customised to suit your needs?

If you answered “yes” to one or more of the above questions, APIC can help. Our approach is based on years of research on effective methods of delivering postgraduate education.

4. How does a degree from APIC compare with one from a university?

Qualification
  • We offer a suite of postgraduate courses with majors in disciplines that are closely aligned with industry trends and requirements. We also offer a suite of undergraduate coures in business and information systems management. Since APIC focuses on business, project, program and organisation management our students have the opportunity to excel in these fields.
  • The cost to students is considerably lower than that typically charged by universities in Australia.
  • Students obtain degrees from APIC which are formally accredited by government and recognised  in Australia.
Delivery
  • Generally class sizes at APIC are much smaller than universities. We focus on individuals and can tailor courses to suit an individual´s needs and aspirations.
  • Unlike traditional learning methods, APIC advocates project-based and competence-based learning focused on real project, program and organisation units.
  • Courses are structured to suit workplace realities, and develop multiple competences in Business, Information, Project, Program and Portfolio Management.
  • Proactive project-based learning is facilitated through mentoring and supported by advanced and student friendly, systems and tools.
  • Individuals´ competencies are assessed, and students are assisted to develop their personal Learning & Development (L&D) plan.
