Scholarship and Research
At the Asia Pacific International College (APIC) we see quality research and scholarship as essential to ensuring a high-quality learning and teaching environment that meets the needs of staff and students.
For our students, the capacity to locate, select and evaluate information from a range of sources to ensure the currency of their knowledge base, and the ability to find novel and effective solutions for anticipated and unexpected challenges are key attributes of APIC graduates. These graduate attributes are aligned with the key overarching APIC curriculum themes of evidence-based decision making and real-world application.
For APIC academic staff, opportunities to engage in discipline-based research and in scholarship of teaching and learning are essential for maintaining currency of the curriculum. Our academic team are committed to applied, contemporary research and scholarship.
To support high quality applied research to address current, real-world issues by promoting a culture of research and scholarship at APIC, through activities such as:
- The APIC Research and Scholarship Seminar Series
