Dr Tas Adam has been committed to the pursuit of excellence in teaching and learning in a variety of Educational disciplines and tertiary settings, over several decades. He has extensive academic and technical experience, as well as education management experience as a consultant and educator, at postgraduate and undergraduate levels, which include ERP Systems and Administration, Advanced Networks and Data Communications, IT Service Management, IT Security, System Management and Design, SAP Administrator (VU) among others and Director of Studies in Project Management at APIC.
Tas has held various university leadership positions, including Head of School in Information Systems, Victoria University, been a member of Comprehensive Course Reviews at VU, has ITIL and PMI certification, has published articles in journals and presented papers at several conferences, local and international, such as the World Computer Congress in Milan and Brisbane. He has been a member of numerous societies, including the Australian Computer Society (MACS), NTEU, ACM (MACM), IEEE (MIEEE), and PMI/AIPM.
Tas' research interests include Network Architectures and modelling of protocols, IT security models, Agile software development, e-learning models and Actor-Network Theory (ANT).
He has taught specialist programming languages such as ABAP and systems support programming and is exploring change management modelling and project management for resource sharing using Petri Nets.
